Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Product Manager – Smart Building Solutions to lead the development and evolution of innovative building technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IoT, building automation systems, and user-centric product design. This role requires cross-functional leadership to align market needs with technical capabilities, delivering intelligent solutions that enhance building efficiency, safety, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product roadmap for smart building solutions.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback sessions to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and sales teams to develop, test, and launch products.
- Translate technical capabilities into customer-centric features and benefits.
- Ensure product compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and sustainability goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond.
- Monitor product performance, gather user data, and iterate on design for continuous improvement.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and support marketing and sales initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in IoT or smart building technologies.
- Understanding of building management systems (BMS), HVAC, lighting control, and sensor technologies.
- Experience working with agile development teams and user experience (UX) design principles.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple products and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Attributes
- Familiarity with energy management systems, sustainability standards, and smart city frameworks.
- Knowledge of protocols such as BACnet, KNX, Zigbee, or similar.
- Experience in SaaS platforms, mobile apps, and cloud-connected device ecosystems.
