Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to protect organizational systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will analyze security events, identify vulnerabilities, and implement proactive measures to safeguard digital assets. This role requires a strong understanding of threat landscapes, incident response, and security tools and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and incidents across all systems.
• Investigate potential threats, anomalies, and breaches, and coordinate incident response activities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
• Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
• Support audits and compliance efforts (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Educate employees on cybersecurity awareness and phishing prevention.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity or information security role.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP).
• Experience with tools such as Splunk, Wireshark, Nessus, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with operating systems, networks, databases, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISM are a plus.
